How does the APH teaching philosophy look in your classroom?
I believe the sciences should be integrated with one another as fluidly as they are in the world around us. Seeing how physics, chemistry, and biology relate is fundamental in the application of these disciplines. A thorough understanding of concepts in one field can open deeper thinking and a more curious mind in other areas.
What excites you about The Academy at Penguin Hall?
What excites me in general is the pursuit of further understanding the world around us, and seeing how different disciplines intertwine. The environment APH creates enables these young women to fully engage in this further understanding.

I love the outdoors and pretty much everything to do in it from canoeing to hiking. For the past few years I have been working in outdoor education, helping people build skills, such as communication, teamwork, and perseverance in all ages.
