WENHAM, Mass., — June 15, 2020 — Students in grades 7-12 across the North Shore will now have access to innovative summer learning opportunities, leadership workshops, CPR Training and athletics through the new APH Summer Program from the The Academy at Penguin Hall (APH.) Beginning June 22, students can choose from more than 20 1-week and 2-week workshop programs in academics, leadership training, sports clinics, study skills and more.
Taught by APH Faculty, our workshops span the humanities, languages, sciences, math, and leadership disciplines. Whether students are looking to learn a new language, brush up on their math skills, improve their study skills, learn more about music, or try their hand at stand up comedy — we have something for everyone. Students can also choose to participate in one of our performing arts workshops or from a variety of sports clinics. Some of our exciting program offerings include:
- History’s Mysteries
- Introduction to Engineering
- Leadership & Sports
- Standup Comedy
The cost for each workshop or clinic is $175 and includes a delicious, healthy lunch in the APH Bistro. Students who sign up for two or more workshops/clinics will receive a 10% discount. Students that have been newly accepted by Penguin Hall for admission for the 2020-21 school year are eligible for one free workshop or clinic of their choice. Students who have not applied for admission to Penguin Hall are also eligible for one free workshop or clinic if they complete an application this summer.
All academic workshops are approximately 90-minutes long, while sports clinics run for about two hours each day. Workshops and clinics will be held on the historic Penguin Hall campus unless otherwise notified. Space is limited and programs are expected to fill quickly. Click here to register.
